this is the best tour / holiday i'm ever going to be apart of. we've been playing shows every night for the last 2 and a half weeks, but we still find time to do cool things during the days.
jacob, bill, keex, hendo, me, jeff, john and fun bobby. so much love and so little space.
today we play in oakland, SF. we were up early as the mae shi had an instore at amobea first.
we got to sit out back and eat pizza
i went to a tattoo parlor.
we hooked up with vice cooler who lives in oakland. we are going to be seeing a lot of him over the next few days. he's a pretty amazing guy.
the show in the evening was cool. past lives played with us again. they are such nice people.
saturday 28th march:
we hang with vice in the morning and then go to Visalia, where we are going to be playing a pizza parlor called howie and sons. it's kinda freaky. loads of kids running aroung. it has a pizza hut vibe to it.
thurston played here last year:
and we are sat eating free pizza, bills girlfriend sheena and gina turn up out of no where. they have driven up from LA to hang out with us for the next 2 shows. this is amazing news!
our show is really bad, but still fun. i don't get bummed out anymore about playing badly. we are all having so much fun at the moment. that's all that matters. when we suck all i have to do is look at robin all sweaty and full of smiles, and it instantly cheers me up.

sunday 29th
back to san fran today to play what turns out to be an insane punk warehouse show, but before that we stop off at john's aunts to swim in her pool and eat an amazing lunch. the gray's are an amazing bunch of people. so kind.
it's bills birthday today. i bought him these flowers for $1:
so the show tonite was insane. vice played with the mae shi:
the kids went crazy. after the show we went back to these kids house. one of them got a hand punched PRE tattoo. that was pretty dumb.
i left at that point. kev and akiko kept the pre flame burning and partied the night away.
mon 30th march
i stayed the night at jeff mae shi's brothers house with bill, sheena and gina (he started the mae shi back in the day. now he's training to be a lawyer.) he's so nice. robin stayed at vice's house and kev and keex stayed at the party. at around midday everyone came over to tim's for waffles. we cancelled a live radio session today so we could al hang out at tim's and then at the park.
also it was robins BIRTHDAY! tiffany bought him a cake:

after tim's we all went and sat in the park. i'm having the most amazing time right now, but i'm also getting bummed out at the thought of leaving someone behind... sob...
that evening we played a nickel arcade in san jose. sheena and gina bought cans of "go girl" for their long journey back to LA.
we bought all the ingredients to make margaritas. fun bobby (robin) loves margaritas.
we drank these monsters in the van. i got a little too drunk. sorry guys...
after the show we drove back to vice's once more. he's looked after us so well. 11 people ended staying at his last night. including david scott stone who is down from LA.
tue 31st march
today we play Santa Cruz - Crepe Place.
in the morning at vice's, keex took some photos of male bonding. appartently we are going to be in the nme, and they need a band shot asap. yikes...
the show in the crepe place was really fun. we got really drunk. fun bobby went INSANE!
